Hungary industrial output growth slows in June


Hungary industrial output growth slows in June - Hungary's industrial output rose more slowly in June, showed data released by the Central Statistics Office Tuesday.

Industrial production rose a working day adjusted 0.6 percent annually in June, significantly slower than the revised 2.4 percent growth in May. Economists were looking for a gain of 2.2 percent.

Based on the unadjusted production also fell by 0.6 percent in June from the previous year, data showed. Month after month, industrial output fell a seasonally and working day adjusted 2.2 percent in June, reversing the previous month 3.5 percent increase.

In the period January-June production fell 0.4 percent in the Hungarian industry from the corresponding period a year earlier, the agency said.
